Biography

Italo-Rican designer Gian Carlo Mazzero Sandoval was born in San Vito, Coto Brus (Costa Rica) on 12 December 1969. He studied architecture and lived in Milan (Italy). Currently living and working in Costa Rica.

Italo-Rican designer Gian Carlo Mazzero Sandoval was born in San Vito, Coto Brus (Costa Rica) on 12 December 1969. He studied architecture and lived in Milan (Italy). Currently living and working in Costa Rica.

His experience with the Jewel Contemporary using alternative materials, the initiative in 2003, with the use of resin and metal.

He has made more than 30 collections of concepts developed diversity, interlacing with Contemporary Art, Conceptual Art and also with the trend of "Ready Made" or "Objet trouvé".

It has more than 50 exhibitions in Italy, Switzerland, Costa Rica and USA

Among his collections are: "Gotika Design" (2004), exposed in the Navajo Nation Museum (Arizona) and the University of New Mexico (Gallup). In the National Gallery of Costa Rica opens "Contemporary Costa Rica" (2008). In March 2010, at the International Arts Festival (Costa Rica), with "Saturn: A New Dimension" using recycled materials in new generation.

For Sandoval-Mazzero every day is a new creative challenge where he reportedly observed, research and experience new concepts, materials, shapes and colors for Women and Men Contemporary.
